Kind of tired. Nothing exciting was going on on the way to work. Kind of dozed in and out of sleep the whole way there. hmmmmm

Well things were relatively uneventful but crowded initially. Then the black guy on drugs with an attitude got on the bus. He was so lit that he could not get the bike on the bus (I wonder how he was able to ride it) and the driver had to help him. After the white driver helped the guy on drugs out, the drugged dude got on the bus and exclaimed “what the f**k all yall niggas on this bus can’t help a brother out but a white dude can?” There was a young black man looked like a student who immediately got up when the drug guy sat next to him. And of course the drug guy was right in front of me, literally. He was swaying back and forth until he recognized someone in the back and signaled her to come over, which she did.  He was pretty loud and obnoxious the whole time he was on and at times almost fell off the seat. He somehow managed to see his stop, get up and actually was able to get his bike off and road away. The drug epidemic is alive and well.

I have actually been to Dubai and at one point I believe I took buses to get around when the taxi’s got too expensive. The  buses were much smaller than those in the US. It was quite an interesting place. Modern cosmopolitan mixed with primitive overtones.

Rested today, but still got drowsy during the ride. I took some allergy medicine earlier.

Looks like some people did not like the fact that San Diego was planning transportation 40 years ahead...

Looks like my youngest daughter has been taking pictures of her foot again on my iphone. She is only 4 but has  been able to manipulate my iphone since she was 3. Wicked scary smart.

Interesting date

Sleepy again on the bus. Actually slept a bit (maybe 10 minutes). I wondered if i snored.

It was not as crowded as it could have been on the way home. Listening to talk radio with my shades on I observed an older gentleman directly across from me. He was well dressed and groomed and I hoped that I would look this content when I was his age. He did not have a wedding ring on and I envisioned him retired with a routine of getting up in the morning and preparing for the day, sitting and reading the paper while having breakfast alone and ensuring that his bed was made and place was clean before he ventured out to a community activity. A bunch of teenagers eventually poured into the back and held loud and sometimes vulgar conversation with each other. I observed the man’s reaction which was a slight head shake and looking away. Apparently he did not approve.

DAY 10

Eastbound

I was pretty tired but glad to be back at my home. I was to catch a different bus stop today one that is closer to my house. The bus stop was under a bridge and I was the only one waiting. The morning was crisp, but I was not cold. The bus arrived at 6:54 and I jumped on and sat down. Halloween was in affect for at least one person had on a costume on the bus. A kid had on a large zip up pajama costume and his face was painted. Not sure exactly what he was trying to be but he had a trumpet with him.

A few other costumes got on. 2 fairies got on and a large man got on with a long robe and turban. There was also a witch and a gothic rocker, but I couldn’t tell if she was in costume or just dressed like that.

After observing some more I closed my eyes and started to think about a story I read over the weekend:

Yeah this pretty much couldn’t suck any worse…
